The band exists since 1994. All three members played in Punk / Hardcore bands so far and so Slup also have their roots in the punkrock sound. In spring 95 first demo cassette «Confusion» with 9 songs in scratchy practise-room quality. August 95 2nd demo tape, recorded at tsf-studios, Arnsberg. 30 minutes of punkrock and 400 sold copies. Autumn 96 recorded the debut album «Fingerkuppencribbler» release in early april 97 on 25 Cent Rrecords. Winter 98 release of the 2nd album «Anorak» on Renate Records.
Slup are back with a bang. Finest Ruhrpott Punkrock / Reggae / Ska you cannot make your feet stand still. The kids have to wait long, but at last the «Escalator» is out. Their 3rd record is containing 16 new tracks dealing with critical, political and personel topics screaming out their anger about the world.
