Distorted Truth is a three piece Street Punk band from Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom. They’re playing since UK82 wave has started. Very wrongly underrated, and often confused with australian Distorted Truth. The band: David Robertson (bass), Alan McDonald (Guitar and vocals) and Kevin McInally (drums). Their influences stem from bands such as The Clash and Stiff Little Fingers. Distorted Truth released a 7″ and in 1990 released their «Smashed Hits» debut album which was pressed on Link Record (UK).
It’s raw, impassioned stuff that really gets your blood pumping. In 1993 released band’s second full-length album with total classic really honest tracks. In 1999 they released a 21 tracks CD called «Street Punk Rules» with tracks from both albums and a few rarities such as a Ruts cover. The band is still working, and toured regularly.
