The band was founded in Wroclaw in 1992, and three years later secured the title of the «Debut of the Year» with the album «Mlodziez Olewa». Subsequent discs — «Blada Plyta» and «Psy I Koty» — became a ticket to the performance at Przystanek Woodstock. However, the real success was brought to the musicians by the fourth album «No Pasaran» and it was from the moment of its release that the career of the Pale Curls started gaining momentum.
The band appeared twice in the program «Kuba Wojewodzki Show», and the title track from the last mentioned album can be heard on the compilation «Bez obciachu» next to pieces by Hey or Abradab. The well-established position in the forefront of Polish alternative groups has become a motivation for further activities — in 2009, the fifth album «Torpedo Los» was released. «Frruuu» is another album in an alternative convention typical of the pale.
