Shadows of defeat is a Switzerland-based melodicpunk band active since 2005 and consists of two studio albums. Our music is emotional and punchy. The lyrics are sociocritical, personal and thought-provoking. We’re influenced by Bands like Pridebowl, Good Riddance, Pulley, NofX, Bad Religion, Strike Anywhere, No Use For A Name.
2014: On 24. January our new album «we’re writing our own epitaph» got released independently, again recorded and mastered bei V.O. Pulver and Shadows Of Defeat.
2009: 808 Records released our first full length album «dead language» which was recorded in Gelterkinden with V.O.Pulver.
2006: We recorded our first demo Songs at the Traintown Studio in Zug. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Attila Varga (Dark Day Dungeon).
