The band was formed in April 2006, and at the end of the same year they recorded their first album called «Prva tura». Since then until today, the band has changed the line-up a couple of times, and the current line-up consists of: Vajagic — vocals, Sone — drums, Pegan — bass and Mare guitar. In early 2008, the second album «Solotrinker» was recorded, which is released for Bad Man Records, just like the first. Between the first and the second album, the single «Kako si lepa» was released with a video for the song of the same name from the first album, an extended version of the video and a song in mp3 format. In May 2008, two new songs «Ploce» and «Judge Dread» were recorded, and this is the first edition of Birtija that appeared only in the online version.
The next album «Get Your Tits Out For The Boys», also only in online release, will be released in June 2009. 01.01.2010 Birtija’s latest album «Pesme za gospodu» saw the light, which, like the two previous releases, was only posted on the Internet. Birtija is quite active in concert, so we will not mention where she played everything and with whom. All releases have been released for Bad Man Records.
